Brief Biographical Sketch:

I'm Becky, and I'm a 5th year Bioengineering major with a concentration in Cell & Tissue Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. In my time at Northeastern University, I've had a blast building robots, assembling circuits, splitting cells, and executing experiments. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching football games on TV, and playing video games with my friends!

Think like an Engineer in Splash Spring 2021
Engineering doesn't have to be intimidating! In this class you'll learn how engineers turn an abstract idea into a real life product. Explore the engineering design process, discuss engineering ethics, and uncover famous engineering failures. Finally, experience the excitement for yourself and put your newfound knowledge to the test as you develop a plan of your own to solve a difficult dilemma.


All About Arthritis (and other injuries!) in Splash Spring 2018
Do you have a relative with arthritis? Have you heard someone speak about their herniated discs? Wondering how long it'll take your favorite football player to recover from a torn ACL? In this class, you'll have the opportunity to learn about all these injuries and more. Investigate the causes of common cartilage injuries, compare them to normal anatomy, and see how they progress over time. Learn a wide range of treatments for each, and figure out why some are far more effective than others. Finally, experience the excitement of being a doctor for yourself and diagnose a variety of real-life injuries by making inferences from evidence such as symptoms as well as images like x-rays and MRI scans.
