Produce Powered Circuits in Spring Splash 2017
Did you know that you can turn a lemon into a battery? In this workshop, we'll teach you how to draw electrical current from a lemon to power a light emitting diode (LED) circuit. The lesson covers basic principles of battery operation and circuit theory through to building, powering, and testing electronic circuits on breadboards. Students may work individually or with a partner.


Programming Arduino Circuits in Splash Waterfall 2015
Want to learn about electronics? This is the class for you! We've prepared a hands on workshop to teach the basics of using the Arduino micro-controller. The class begins with a lecture on object-oriented C programming and moves into the hardware design process. After learning the basics, you'll get to build and program a timed Traffic Light Controller. Students may work individually or with a partner.
